London Bike Show trade show stand

Lucky Fox is proud to have been working on some exciting projects for new specialist cycling clothing brand LUMO. LUMO is a new range of beautifully designed city cycling jackets and bags with in-built LED lights, which are crafted for style, visibility and comfort on the bike. The idea is to be able to ride wearing fashionable products, that you can wear in a bar with your mates and not look like you’re wearing specialist gear. However the clothing has built in safety and technical weatherproofing detailing. Working with the aesthetic of the LUMO brand we created a modular trade show stand which launched at The London Bike show which took place between 11th and 14th Feb at the Excel centre in East London. The stand design focuses on the specific detailing and benefits of each product, The key pieces for this show were London-centrically titled ‘Herne Hill Harrington jacket’, ‘ The Bermondsey backpack’ and the ‘Regent’s Park Parka jacket’. Alongside the stand, we have also been developing and rolling out a comprehensive POS kit to be distributed to selected LUMO points of wholesale distribution across the UK. The POS has integrated screens which educate the consumer on the benefits of the product and brand message, the materials used are intentionally urban to reflect the landscape of the urban city cyclist. We loved working on the design of the stand exploring subtle ways to communicate what the brand is about, from adding cycle ‘bull horn’ handle bars to the ends of the garment hanging rails and using bungee cord and LED detailing to create a cohesive ‘look and feel’ to LUMO’s first ‘physical space’ brand venture. Lucy and Doug Bairner, founders of the LUMO brand were super happy with the outcome and couldn’t believe how the finished product looked exactly like the first visuals we presented them with on paper. They also commented on how easy we had made the set up and break down for them.
